Designed to Engage: Newsletters & Flyers That Built Community

As a Leasing Agent, I took the lead on designing and distributing monthly community newsletters and seasonal lease renewal flyers. These materials weren’t just decorative—they played a key role in resident engagement and retention.

I created themed designs each month using Canva, aligning them with seasonal events, community updates, and lease renewal cycles. The goal was to make residents feel informed, appreciated, and more connected to the community.


Key Results:

  • 📈 Improved resident engagement by 40% through consistent, eye-catching communication.

  • 🏡 Helped increase lease renewal rates from 70% to 85%, reducing turnover and boosting retention.

Each design was thoughtfully tailored to reflect the tone of the season—whether it was a bright and upbeat summer campaign or a warm, welcoming fall newsletter. My focus was on creating clear, visually appealing materials that not only informed but also fostered a stronger sense of community.
